This year we highlight our Hellebores, especially the new Sparkle series from Europe, as well as a number of specialty Hellebores and species that we carry. On the back page we feature a perennial Bachelor Button, Centauria 'Amethyst in Snow', with a particularly graceful flower.

How to Spot a Pycnanthemum offers a quick guide to the significant features of the Perennial Plant of the Year, from flower head to landscape planting. We also introduce 'Smokey Mountain Mint', with its interesting play between dark bronze on the lower leaves and silvery frosting along the top.
