Larger than a typical Polemonium, 'Hurricane Ridge' also has better sun tolerance for more flexibility in the garden. During midsummer, clusters of mauve-blue flowers rise on strong stems above heavily mounded fern-like foliage. Blooms are quite fragrant and attract pollinators which is a good thing because there are lots of flowers. Adds interesting texture to the rock garden, containers, or the front of the border.
