This Siskiyou Pink is Oenothera, a different genus than Gaura. Soft pink cup-shaped flowers with a white center bloom all summer, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds. Flowers open in the evening and remain open until late morning, or all day if it’s overcast. Erect to sprawling plants spread by rhizomes to 18 inches wide or more.
