Scalloped, spoon-shaped leaves are dark green, often edged in white, and form a lovely loose rosette. Flat clusters of tiny, star-shaped yellow flowers bloom in late summer, giving way to small fruits that turn bronze-red in fall. Spreading plants make an attractive low-growing groundcover.
