Vernonia can get very big but ‘Buzz Stop’ is shorter. They’ve reined in the size but that doesn’t mean this is a small plant. It’s still bigger than an aster, even though it looks like a rounder, neat and tidy one. Expect it to reach about chest-high, whereas most vernonias are over your head. Like an aster, the plant is covered in blooms, one of the last of the season.
