With much improved fall foliage, ‘Butterscotch’ is a deep, rich golden color with contrasting reddish stems. For most of the season it is the same steel blue spring flowers above rich green foliage. Though often showing peak fall color a week or two later than the species, the color is far more intense and uniform.
